A vintage celebration

UK Power Networks (UKPN) were planning a gala dinner for their CEO and Executive Management Team. To mark the occasion, special gifts were to be presented to guests as a memento of the event.

Personalised wine was the chosen idea and we were asked to design some fun but tasteful labels for the bottles. Our solution was simple and stylish. Firstly, a head shot of the recipient, looking just like the distinguished grandee of a prestigious winery. Secondly, a signature brand alliteratively matching their name with a wine variety. And finally, an amusing strapline that reflected their personality or job role.

Wives and partners also received personalised wine featuring their names and the phrase: ‘Limited Edition- Classic Vintage’.

Although we had to work with photos of varying quality, our eye-catching designer labels were very well received and worked elegantly together to create a suite of truly individual gifts.

Bawdsey Radar appoints Propeller Design

We’re delighted to have been appointed by people who care for Bawdsey Radar to create a new brand identity for this historic site.
Bawdsey was home to the world’s first operational radar station, enabling the identification of enemy air activity close to our coast from the lead up to the second World War through to the end of the cold war. The site will be regenerated thanks to support from the Heritage Lottery Fund, and when it opens in 2017, our logo, visual identity, colour scheme and positioning statement will be there to support it. We’ve loved working with such a dedicated team of volunteers and pleased to have been asked to create a website and other marketing collateral for Bawdsey Radar too.
